Our Villas
Our park Taman Perancak consists of 4 identical houses. These are
situated in a park (Taman) of more than 6000 m².
Facilities
The 4 houses each have two floors. The first floor has two bedrooms
and a bathroom. There is also a large veranda from which you have a
wonderful view on the surroundings, sawahs, sea and mountains. The
ground floor has one bedroom, bathroom, kitchen (well-equipped:
refrigerator, cooker, coffee maker, dinner-service) and a large open
living with open stairs. Sheets, blankets, bedspreads and towels are
present. The houses have been designed in Balinese style. The three
bedrooms are air-conditioned. On the territory are two luxurious
swimming pools, a large one with bar and terrace. Our private houses
offer a lot of space, comfort and personal service. The whole house
with garden, pool and staff is exclusive for you. The informal
atmosphere is very important.
It’s just like living in your own private house at Bali ; with all
the space and without household worries.
The care for the houses is in the good hands of the housekeeping
staff. Actually it’s not comparable with a stay at a hotel. Bali
offers you anything: sun, sea, beaches, mountains, nature, culture,
going out and peace and quiet. At only few destinations you will
feel at home so soon. For golf lovers there are also various
possibilities, if you like to combine rest with luxury !
Housekeeping staff
The owners of the houses employ housekeepers, who clean the house,
make the beds, look after the pool and do your washing. So we offer
hotel facilities with or without breakfast. You have to do the
shopping yourself or have them done. These can be done by phone; a
local shopkeeper will bring them to you.
In general the local staff speak and understand a little English.
You needn’t worry about your privacy.
On the territory there is a security-house where visitors should
report themselves. An Indonesian family lives here. If things break
down you can apply to this family.
Climate
Bali has a tropical climate. The dry monsoon starts in March and
goes on till November. During the wet monsoon it’s also nice to be
at Bali. At this period it’s quieter than in the high season.
Important advantage of this period: more space and rest!
At Bali it’s six hours later during our summertime; in winter it’s
seven hours later than in Holland. The temperature fluctuates round
30° C.
If you are holiday bound in July, August or September you should
book in time.
Money matters
Giro cards can be cashed at post office. Traveller cheques, in
dollars and euro's can be cashed at banks and the many “money
changers” all over Bali. The same gives for cash money of course.
Many restaurants and shops accept credit cards. There are also many
cash dispensers.
Vaccinations
Consult your family doctor or GGD at your living place. You needn’t
have malaria tablets at Bali.
Voltage
220 Volts at Bali and the rest of Indonesia.
Passport
The period of validity must be half a year when you fly to
Indonesia!
Flights
You have to arrange your flights yourself. It’s of main importance
that you pass your flight numbers on to us, so that we know when you
will arrive and can look after your transfer.
Transport
It’s easy to hire a car, with or without a driver. If you drive
yourself please don’t forget your international driving licence!
It’s also possible to take a taxi. They can be ordered by phone and
are very cheap. There are a number of taxis cooperating with us.
Including / Excluding
Rent including are:
· Transfer from and to the airport;
· All services and facilities, as mentioned before;
· Costs of electricity; be energy saving, only put on the airco in the evening, if necessary ! This also goes for the lights on the grounds.
Not including are:
· Tips for the staff, free of obligations usual;
· Breakfast, other meals, drinks and laundry.
Restaurants
From the houses you walk to the beach in 10 minutes. On the way
there are several restaurants. On the beach there are big resorts ,
where you get excellent Balinese meals; quality as well as price
very good, indeed!
Cost
The cost is the same for each of the 4 houses.
